The owner of the business has been involved with banking and lending in the Australian market for over 20 years.

Dean Fox – Business Principal

Dean has worked in the finance industry for over 20 years, in various lending roles and experiencing most forms of lending.

Initially starting with a major bank writing and processing personal loans, Dean quickly progressed to writing Home Loans and then subsequently moved into the complex business finance market.

Roles during this time included the managing of SME businesses lending needs right through to corporate customers, who had multi-million dollar requirements for finance. 

Seeing an opportunity to help customers on a more personal basis, Dean saw the opportunity to leave the large financial institution environment and enter the broker world.

For the last five years, Dean has worked as a finance broker assisting clients with their Home Loan and Commercial/Business Finance needs.

Prior to starting Astute Lending Services, Dean was a valued member of the team at an award winning broker business, receiving various awards from PLAN Australia in both the home loan and business lending segments.

Having both a sales and credit background has certainly helped Dean when dealing with banks, as he can talk to them on their own level.

The benefit to the client is that Dean knows how best to present a loan to the lenders, taking into account each institutions particular credit policies.
